Good Afternoon Hubbard Families,

Our School Cafeteria will be opening soon so please be on the lookout for more information. A link to the online ordering system will be sent home for students looking to order daily hot lunch.

Poppin’ Thursdays have resumed. The Grade 3 Team is selling popcorn for $2.00 a bag to help support activities for the students once again. This is available in school cash online every Friday through to Tuesday. This allows us to pop the popcorn and be ready to serve on Thursday at recess.

If families are registered with PowerSchool Portal, you can also view achievement results via that platform. Please reach out to us if you have not registered for PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Next Week is Family Literacy Week. Notices will be sent home on Monday for families to record their minutes of reading for the week. On Tuesday we ask that students bring in one of the favourite books from home to share with the class. Thursday is dress as your favourite story book character theme. Please check out the ABC Life Literacy link for some free and new ideas.

Family Literacy Day is held on January 27^th to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy activities as a family.

Hubbard will also be hosting an AMAZING Family Literacy Night on Thursday, February 2^nd starting at 6:00PM. Everyone is invited to participate in this event…
